AOD PRAYER VIGIL NOV. 29, 2007- BUS RESERVATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED
Important News!
On Wednesday, November 21, 2007 the Archdiocese of Detroit and Garden City Police met with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s office to discuss the Saint Dunstan embezzlement case and the issuance of an arrest warrant early next week. According to Garden City Police, hopefully this case could be closed in 3-4 weeks.
PRAYER VIGIL DATE IS SET
We have scheduled a prayer vigil at the AOD for November 29, 2007. Buses have been reserved and donations to offset the cost will be accepted when boarding, but are not required.
Schedule:
9:15 a.m. - Board the buses at Saint Dunstan
9:30 a.m. - Buses leave for the AOD
11:00 a.m- Board the buses for return trip.
11:15 a.m.-Buses leave downtown to return to Saint Dunstan (approximately 11:45)
11:45 a.m. A Prayer will be held in the Church Garden.
(Reminder -We pray the Rosary each evening in the church at 8:00 pm. Please join us.)
Seating is limited - 100 seats are available. Make your reservation soon; seats are first come - first served. You can reserve seats by sending an email to prayervigil2@gmail.com with the names and phone number of each person reserving a seat. You will receive a confirmation email.

This event will go on rain or shine. Please dress accordingly. The prayer vigil will not be cancelled.
As Father Don would expect of us, our prayer vigil and our actions will continue to be prayerful, peaceful and polite –but also persistent. Remember to bring your Rosary but please don’t bring signs, bullhorns, etc.
ACTION ITEM: HEART PROJECT FOR FATHER DON
What the Heart Project is… a gift for Father Don to show our love and support. Anyone who loves and supports Father Don can each make one FELT heart. We hope to have many hearts; therefore, if you could, please limit your heart size to 3 x 4 1/2 inches. Decorate your heart any way you like [sew, paint, glue, etc.] feel free to put your name or initials… please be sure to leave a border so we can sew your heart onto the banner. Mail your heart to:

AUTUMN DINNER-DANCE: Friday Nov. 23rd was a second consecutive full house for a delightful evening of friendship, celebration, food and fun! The guest of honor, Father Don, generously shared his time, smile, wit and warmth (and vocal stylings!) with all in attendance. How wonderful to have him in our lives. Once again we would like to thank Matt and Julie Hahn and Donna Becker for all of their hard work to provide two such wonderful evenings. May God Bless them all!
PRAYER VIGIL: We continue praying the Rosary at 8:00pm each evening in the Church. Please join us as we continue to pray for Father Don. Be persistent in praying for your needs and the needs of others: “And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened” (Luke 11:9-10)
