NEW INFORMATION: The office of Cardinal Maida has confirmed that in the first week of April 2008, the AOD Assignment Board will make a final decision of who will be assigned as pastor of Saint Dunstan parish.
Please attend the Town Hall Meeting this Saturday so your opinions will be heard by the Assignment Board members. It is important they receive complete and unfiltered information from Father Don and parishioners of Saint Dunstan.
Attorney Portia Roberson will be speaking about the Wayne County Prosecutor’s investigation of the Saint Dunstan embezzlement case, Privacy Rights and the Michigan Crime Victims Rights Act.

TOWN HALL MEETING
The Catholic Church is to be “the pillar and foundation of truth.”
Thousands of letters and phone messages have gone unanswered. 1,200 signatures were ignored. Promises of a town hall meeting are forgotten.
The Archdiocese of Detroit has controlled all information about what has happened over the past year at Saint Dunstan. They have used press releases, the pulpit, the Prosecutor’s office, the church bulletin to tell their story as they want you to know it. There have been rumors, insinuations and innuendos.
We are blessed to live in a country with free speech and the right to protect ourselves from false accusations.
This Town Hall Meeting will allow people to hear the rest of the story. Father Don will be there to publicly answer your candid, uncensored and detailed questions about what has transpired. He will respond to allegations made by the Archdiocese of Detroit and the Wayne County Prosecutor. Documents from the embezzlement investigation will be made public.
As Catholics we are obligated to live in “the Spirit of truth” and have a moral obligation to seek the truth. Christ told his disciples to “put away all malice and all guile and insincerity and envy and all slander.”
Let this be our time to come together, our time to seek the truth, our time to hear from Father Don.
