A message from Father Don: I would like to invite everyone to share in a MASS OF THANKSGIVING on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 2:00pm at Saint Colette Church on Newburgh north of 6 Mile Road. So many people, in so many ways, have done so much for me that I can never repay. I have been blessed by your prayers love and good will. I will continue to remember you, your kindness and your loved ones in my daily prayers and celebrating the Holy Eucharist.

PRAYERS AND PERSISTENCE

For the last two years we have journeyed together, learning about ourselves, our faith and the importance of friendship. Finally we can forget the fight and frustration, suffering and sadness because we have arrived at our destination.

Father Don has received an assignment at Saint Alan Parish (Troy) and Saint Columban Parish (Birmingham) effective July 1, 2009.

Celebrate, rejoice and know that you have done well to support this man of God, Father Don, our friend.
